I'm having the exact same issue after the new update has been installed. After it booted, then I was able to turn my anti-virus back on, and the game works normally now. I tried three different things earlier, but it seemed to be my antivirus software that was messing it up this time.Įven though I had added CK2 to my antivirus exception list, I still had to start CK2 once with the antivirus turned off. Same here, I tried setting up exclusions in the antivirus but it doesn't work. I have the same problem with Windows No mods. No mods, disabled DLCs, rolled back graphics card drivers.
